I am still figuring out where I want to go with the damned layout of this thing. I want to customize it, but my lord, LJ makes it a real pain in the ass to get what I'm looking for. I figured I could just bump around a few chunks of HTML and what not, but it's not that easy. Hopefully one of these days this thing will embody my own style with some amount of usability geared towards ya'll.

Just got home from the studio. Tracked all my vocals for the album (I think!).

Mr. Where is in from Portland and is coming out with me and [info]vxnervegas to Poop Socks. Maybe I'll see some of ya there!

Line6
I am contemplating getting a Line6 USB Guitar Direct Box with the Gear Box plug-in instead of upgrading my PODpro to the PODxt-pro.  Anyone have any experience with the plug-in?  Is it basically the same exact thing as using the PODxt for recording?

If I do get it, part of me wants to sell the PODpro, but then again, I may end up playing live at some point where I could really use it.

The notion of finally moving all my guitar amp simulation from a hardware interface into my software as a plugin makes me jitter with please.

A Little Night Music
I have to confess: I don't listen to much music. If I am listening to music, usually it ends up being mixes of songs I am in the middle of working on. I perpetually attack my songs/mixes with a nice ting of obsession (rather than the narcissism you may expect or gleam from this post).  Although, I do know other people that listen to their own radio show in bed, so I don't feel so bad.

heh

Now that I have a membership to a gym I am need of good exercising music. I dug up my old industrial CDs I had burried under a pile of clothes I don't fit into any more, but I want something new. I haven't bought a new album in....lord....probably 2 years. I know, it is horrible. Very horrible indeed.

I got an iTunes Store account and have gotten a handful of new stuff that I think may be good to work out to. I got the last Depeche Mode album (meh, it's ok), "Oh La La" by Goldfrapp (I love some of their stuff), and I got a grip of Gorillaz.

I need suggestions of non-suck current/contemporary* music that is good to exercise to.
I need your help.

*I don't want the ol' classics.  I need to broaden my musical scope and I want to get some inspiration of new production and song writing techniques.
